Message-ID: <36D071C5-3A90-4257-9360-0F20FC5D691F@heimsath.com> Hey Green Drinkers, Because we often start out the New Year with some eat-right type resolutions, Green Drinks has asked Salila Travers, organizer of the Sunset Valley Farmer?s Market and owner of Aztec Organic Pest Service, to come share her passion for organic foods and nutritional expertise with the rest of us junk food addicts. Join us for the fun part of being globally aware January 25th from 5:30-7:30ish at Opal Divines: W 6th and Rio Grande at the upstairs bar adjacent to the terrace. About Green Drinks Green Drinks Happy Hours are informal events that happen about once a month in Austin. They are open to those of us who work in the environmental field and/or who are routinely finding innovative ways to meet the challenges of a sustainable future. About Salila Travers Salila has a Bachelor?s Degree in Economics from Rice University, which she followed up with a Masters of Public Health and a specialization in Nutrition from the University of Texas. In 1981 her studies in nutrition gave way to a desire to preserve human health and environment through the founding of Aztec Organic Pest Service, which she has run for over 25 years. A graduate of Permaculture training, she has always been an advocate for sound environmental principles. Salila believes that the promotion of small farms through the consumption of grass-fed, pasture-raised meats and organic produce (whether certified or not) directly translates into a better quality of life, improving the health of our bodies and our minds. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me here at the office. Thanks a Bunch, J e n n i f e r L o v e H E I M S A T H A R C H I T E C T S 2108 E. M.
