Hey Green Drinkers!

This month Brandi Clark of Enviromentality Inc. will be milling
around to educate us on sustainable Intentional Communities. There to
help field some of the morespecific questions will be EcoBroker
Gretchen Janzow, who is currently working with a few local groups in
the process of buying land for an intentional community. `Intentional
Community' is a generally inclusive term for covillages, cohousing,
residential land trusts, student co-ops, urban housing cooperatives,
and other projects where people with a common vision work towards the
creation of a community that is in keeping with a defined set of
goals. From a sustainable aspect, Intentional Communities present an
innovative solution to dealing with today's environmental and social
challenges; presenting a viable alternative to sprawling suburban
builder homes and increasingly gentrified urban neighborhoods.

Join us for the fun part of being globally aware November 30th from
5:30-7:30ish
at Opal Divines: 6th and Rio Grande at the upstairs bar adjacent to
the terrace.
