Green Drinkers,

This month Brandi Clark of Enviromentality Inc. will be milling
around to educate us on sustainable Intentional Communities. An
‘Intentional Community’ is a generally inclusive term for
ecovillages, cohousing, residential land trusts, student co-ops,
urban housing cooperatives, and other projects where people with a
common vision work towards the creation of a community that is in
keeping with a defined set of goals. From a sustainable aspect,
Intentional Communities present an innovative solution to dealing
with today’s environmental and social challenges; presenting a viable
alternative to sprawling suburban builder homes and increasingly
gentrified urban neighborhoods.
Join us for the fun part of being globally aware November 30th from
5:30-7:30ish at Opal Divines: 6th and Rio Grande at the upstairs bar
adjacent to the terrace.
