ABOUT GREEN DRINKS

Green Drinks Happy Hours are informal events that happens about once

a month in Austin. They are open to those of us who work in the

environmental field and/or who are routinely finding innovative ways

to meet the challenges of a sustainable future.

ABOUT GAYLE BORST

In pursuit of a deeper shade of green, local architect Gayle Borst of

Stewardship, Inc. has passionately pursued a design strategy that

focuses on building with natural systems, such as cob and straw bale
walls,

passive solar heating and cooling, earthen floors, and clay plasters.

These strategies, as Galye maintains, “Not only result in a more
ecologically

sound buildings, but they also open limitless creative possibilities for

buildings with heart and soul.”
