[Greendrinks] Green Drinks Focuses on Xeriscaping, Friday June 29th!

Hello Everyone:
This month join us we focus on Xeriscaping. Carolyn Kelley from
CKLA will be hanging out to chat with us about sustainable landscape  
design.  Come by and soak up all of Carolyn’s knowledge on native  
plant species, and get ideas on how to lower your greedy lawn’s water  
usage as well as its eternal claim on your personal time. Join us for  
the fun part of being globally aware June 29th, upstairs by the pool  
tables at The Tavern, located at 12th and Lamar from 5:30 to 7:30.

Green Drinks Happy Hours are informal events that happens about once
a month in Austin. They are open to those of us who work in the
environmental field and/or who are routinely finding innovative ways
to meet the challenges of a sustainable future.

ABOUT CAROLYN KELLEY
Carolyn Kelley has been practicing landscape architecture in Austin  
for more than 20 years, specializing in sustainable, naturalizing,  
low maintenance landscapes that can accommodate intensive use. She  
worked on the Austin City Hall and Lauren’s Trail in the Taniguchi  
Oriental Garden.  She is currently working with Limbacher and Godfrey  
on a master plan for Barton Springs Pool, and with Cotera and Reed on  
the renovation of the parking lots under I35.
